Lulu Needs Our Help!

Update 06/06/25 – We’re sad to report that after undergoing thorough evaluations by two separate doctors and medical offices, accompanied by lengthy discussions, we reached a unanimous decision that it was in Lulu’s best interest to permit her to cross the rainbow bridge. She was so sick she couldn’t be spayed. Considering her FELV+ status, severe Stomatitis, widespread oral ulcers, and considerable tooth decay and damage (leading to being underweight and unable to eat), Lulu had no possibility of experiencing an acceptable quality of life.

Rest in Peace sweet Lulu. 💔

Update 06/04/25 9:00 pm Update: This beauty has been diagnosed with Stomatatis and also has lots of dental work to be done. Lulu is in rough shape. She is currently in emergency fostercare. Lulu will be going to our vet tomorrow /Thursday, then to a long term foster home.

Update 06/03: Mount Carmel Veterinary Hospital is willing to examine this cat for $75. Many thanks to everyone who pledged to donate. You can do so tomorrow/Wednesday. The finder got her.

Update 11:00 pm – So far, there is $300 in pledges for vetting to whichever rescue can take this cat under their wing. We have no available foster homes at the moment.

At our vet, that’s enough to get fixed, vaccinated, combo tested and Revolution. Pledges get collected the day/night before vet’s appointment.

Waterbury. This cat is said to be friendly and very sick.. Drooling. Unfortunately we do not have any available foster homes and there’s no funding for vetting. Please consider pledging towards medical care. Pledges will go to whichever rescue brings her to the vet.

Please share. 🙏🙏🙏

Friendly reminder: do NOT FEED OUT OF CANS, it cuts the cat’s tongue.
